Online Counterfeiting
Incopro is pleased to announce ISO 27001 certification, maintaining the highest standard for data security and cementing our commitment to defending our own intellectual property as fiercely as we do for our clients.
Incopro is committed to ensuring that adequate security controls are in place to protect our information and data from corruption, unauthorised access, loss or theft. Our ISO 27001 certification helps mark Incopro as the industry leader in data security.
We securely store our data including intellectual property, finances, employee details and the information provided to us by our clients and other third parties, going above and beyond the minimum legal thresholds outlined within the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Defending our intellectual property and data
Incopro is constantly building upon its established culture of security, due diligence and accountability. This forms part of our value system upheld across all areas of our organisation. We recognise that cyberthreats are more prevalent than ever and believe that organisations need to be readily equipped to defend their own assets, particularly in an industry dedicated to fighting intellectual property theft and infringement.
We understand that our business needs to undertake risk management and mitigation for everything that we do. Each employee, product, service and system holds a key role in maintaining security and data protection.
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) sets out standards for keeping information and data secure. ISO 27001 certification highlights our commitment to the protection of confidential data and to the secure exchange of information between the company and our clients.
ISO 27001 is a globally recognised standard that defines best-practice information security management systems (ISMS). Incopro has established comprehensive internal ISMS, providing a methodical approach to securing sensitive company and client information. We have set out a risk management hierarchy to include our personnel, processes and technology.
Achieving compliance
Incopro completed the following steps to achieve certification by an external, independent auditor:
- Documented our processes we conducted to achieve compliance
- Demonstrated that our processes adequately met the compliance objectives
- Provided evidence that the company actively follows our processes
- Documented any deviations or exceptions
We are then externally audited each year to retain our certification.
